Financial support will empower Deaf women to lift themselves out of poverty with dignity, through gaining access to sustainable sources
of secure employment.
£30 - offers basic business, health & human rights training for 1 Deaf woman or girl.
A tiny loan less than £150, will allow a Deaf woman or girl to start her own business and move towards economic self-sufficiency. This income generation activity will help her to escape prostitution and poverty and enable her to feed herself and family.
C) Other support needed
In addition to raising funds to support Deaf children and Deaf women and girls, we also need to raise funds to support our local office in Kinshasa. Money is needed to ensure that the local branch is operable and enable our staff to oversee all of our projects and ensure they are working efficiently.
- £150 - monthly rent for the local office.
- £200 - Management & Administration costs.
- £300 - monthly salary for the local staff (5 people).
